Last night was another quiet night food-wise for the Johnson’s. Diane decided to use the remaining roast lamb cut into narrow strips, to form the basis of a delicious salad composed of: the lamb strips, cherry tomato halves, chunks of avocado and carrot Julianne’s and severed with a soft vinaigrette.
This lovely salad was followed by a quarter of a new pizza variety that I wanted to try after spotting it in the market yesterday afternoon. It is a local product I believe and has a thick base that would not be to many peoples liking. However, I found it very appealing and will definitely try it again.
This meal was accompanied by some leftover wine that still kept its flavour.
