FOOD DIARY: Friday, February 8th 5.2 Diet Chicken

Thursday, last night, was the second day of the 2–5 Diet and Diane who always cooks on diet days (gee, I think that she does not trust me to add a little extra oil or something caloric) prepared her usual bonzer of a meal.

It was a simple affair, 500 — 600 calories but because of her culinary skills she can make even a diet meal sparkle.  It was just a small chicken breast  gently fried and then sauteed in a little stock and flavoured with, in this case, smoked paprika (that was the predominant flavour to me).

As usual after the main course we had a green salad dressed with her low-cal Greek yogurt dressing and this delightful meal was accompanied by several glasses of flavoured water.
