FOOD DIARY: Friday, March 1st (return to 2–5 Diet)

Yesterday was a diet day so the evening meal that Di prepared was her usual dietary gem or “how to have a diet meal that does not taste like a diet meal”.

As usual it was less than the 500 calories that Diane can have.  She made us about six shelled prawns a piece with an assortment of sauteed vegies (dry fried I believe–I should watch how she prepares this meal but so far I have not done so).  The vegetables seem to vary according to what is in the fridge so it is not important.  Regardless of their kind they are all about the same caloric value.  A hefty green salad and two glasses of mildly flavoured water rounded out this great tasting meal.
