Last night’s dinner was a repest of a previous delicious paella

Last night Diane and I enjoyed the second half of the delicious paella that she had made for the previous night’s dinner and if anything it tasted even better as is the case with many very savoury dishes.
The only change she made was to add fresh prawns to the paella just as it was completing its reheating so as not to cook the prawns too much and thus cause them to dry out.
She served a cleansing salad after the paella and we finished the remains of the excellent Spanish Rueda from the previous evening and it had not deteriorated on this second drinking.

  1. I do love paella but I don’t like certain seafoods. I wonder if that still qualifies me as a paella lover.

      Hi Again,
Yes, everybody can and should be a paella lover. The version that Diane and I make is called Paella Valenciana which contains the seafood. I think that you could easily substitute small pieces of chicken and pieces of ham or virtually any small bits of meat that you prefer. I have not done this but just do a web search for paella and you will get more information than you probably need.
