Pasta Sunday

Last night was a simple food night because we had a relatively big lunch. J

Just pasta is easy–although the sauce does not taste easy!)

Diane fixed us a delicious penne arrabiata of: onion, garlic, redchillies, canned chopped tomatoes., caprs and olives  This is quite a liquid sauce so it would go best with a pasta shape that allows the sauce to penetrate into the pasta.

The sauce was made in quantities and frozen a few weeks ago.

We had a small cabbage slaw salad to clear the palate.

We finished some wines of various origins as our beverage.
