Two nights ago it was a Diet Night and we had an old recipe that I have made for many months; just fish on a bed of mushrooms and tomatoes. Diane cooked this night but she fried the mushies and tomatoes first before laying them as a bed for the fish. We preferred them her way softly cooked rather than the way that I had prepared them where they were only slightly cooked. Often we do not cook each other’s recipes but when we do we find the changes that each of us make insure a better dish.
We just completed the meal with a simple cleansing salad (with none of the stuff that makes a salad stand out) and two glasses of cold water. Diet days are sacrificing days!
