An Indian Meal With Chapatis,Dahl,Lime Pickle & Coconut Chicken Chettinad.

We enjoyed a delicious packaged, “street Kitchen” meal last night with enough left over for another night.
Diane fried the Chapattis and served them with the Dahl to which she added some water. These were served with the Lime Pickle to make a formidable first course.
After this beginning Diane brought out the mains which were: Coconut Chicken Chettinad, a recipe from South India. She served this with Rice, Cucumber with Yogurt, Tomatoes and Spicy Grilled Cauliflower. The Indians make the best vegetables in the world in my opinion.
Again in my opinion, the best beverage to have with an Indian meal is Indian beer; if none is readily available then any beer will do but in this case we split a large bottle of Italian beer (there is certain symmetry to our beer choice.)
