Polpettone Leftovers

Last night we had an excellent dinner; we enjoyed the remainder of the Polpettone alla Toscana (Italian meatloaf with mushrooms) and the remainder of the roast vegetables. Diane fixed a new salad with home made croutons and dressing which proved to be a fitting end to the meal.
I enjoyed the remains of the Borgo San Leo Chianti which Diane thought had been ”corked” but I of less sensitive taste buds did not think so; therefore the bottle’s remains fell to me.
