The first course was brilliant but could not be simpler. Diane fried some delicious Swiss Brown Mushrooms; as I said, simple but wonderful tasting!
Last night was a delicious meal even though it was a Diet Night. Diane, the resident Chef, shallow fried an excellent fish after shaking it in a bag with spoonfuls of flour and Cajun Spice. Served with the fish was a small dish of Peas & Corn: one of my favourites.
After these delights came a salad of Spinach Leaves with: Tomato, Cucumber and Pickle. An excellent glass of cold water accompanied the meal.
